We got a great big convoy, Ain't she a beautiful sight

Mr. Neoclassic, Classic Rock, and Zydeco returned from Boy Scout camp late yesterday. They were full of stories, skits, jokes, and dirty laundry. Oh my, the dirty laundry!

The boys can now recite all lyrics to Convoy....because it fit the trip:

• 36 Scouts
• 9 Adults
• 9 Vehicles
• 500 miles
• 36 tanks of gas (thank you tax deduction!)
• 2 Trailers
• 11 Hiking backpacks
• 4 battery powered fans
• 17 trunks of camp supplies
• 4 inundated convenience stores whose restrooms may never recover ("Magazines should NOT be taken to the restrooms" - a sign found inside the store.....)
• 1 overtaxed Arby's employee who needs intense therapy after assembling 40+ sandwiches in less than 40 minutes
• 1 camp songs playlist, played repeatedly ("Dead skunk in the middle of the road")
• 123 merit badges earned
• 0 showers (if the laundry is any indication)
• 6 geese a-laying (just checking to see if you stuck with us)

Here's Zydeco sporting his Leather Work and Indian Lore projects.  Classic Rock spent the week at the Mountain Man program and was too dirty for my camera.... I jest, but just a little.
