Time in a bottle (or bench)

My sister and I took piano lessons during the late 70's and early 80's. Can you tell?

Sadly, neither of us is seriously proficient at piano. We can both pick out and play the harmonies we need to learn our parts, but we can't sit and play endless concertos or theme songs from cheesy television shows. Classic Rock is wonderfully proficient and Jazz is getting there. Zydeco's instrument of choice is the guitar, and he's a sight reading rock star.

What's lurking in your piano bench?

  1. I have six of those! I like going through the old music at thrift stores and such. My oldest has the goal to learn all movements of Moonlight Sonata and have it memorized. I think it's great! {except we get to hear it over and over and over and over}

I thank you for visiting with me and for sharing your thoughts. I hope your day is fabulous and that you make some time for music - no matter what kind!
